The final form, once all the wood has been removed, is 13.5″ across and 3.5″ deep.
I always imagined it three or four feet in size, commanding an entire wall and seemingly larger than life. This version is successful for different reasons. Rather than commanding, it creates a welcoming sense of intimacy with the viewer.
