As I reach for the sky with a desperate longing to ride the wind, I am equally driven to feel the earth beneath me as a steady and constant connection. Rather than being torn apart by twin desires, I have become a conduit through which the unseen has become visible and the unknown is now recognizable. My body acts as the introduction between earth and sky, where hints of what is possible are revealed through flashes of beauty found in the ordinary.
